Tenancy Deposit Scheme

The Dispute Service is an independent, not-for-profit, company established in 2003 to resolve tenancy deposit disputes in the private rented sector. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme operates in accordance with the requirements of the Housing Act 2004. This provides a dispute resolution service should a dispute about the allocation of a deposit arise at the end of the tenancy. 

The Deposit Protection Scheme

The Deposit Protection Service (The DPS) is open to all landlords and letting agents, and is the only scheme that is free to use. Landlords and letting agents can access online accounts 24/7 and submit deposits in minutes, allowing you to concentrate on doing business, not admin.
